The single-pole switch provides extremely simple on/off control. This type of switch interrupts the live (one pole), unlike the double-pole switch which interrupts both the live and the neutral (two poles) at the same time. In general, single-pole switches are ideal for low-power electrical appliances, including table lamps.
By rocker, we mean the classic button that tilts and, when pressed, stays in that position. It is a very practical design, easy to operate and perfect for switching the switch on and off with one hand.
