The single-pole switch provides extremely simple on/off control. This type of switch interrupts the live wire (one pole) as opposed to the double-pole switch, which interrupts both the live and neutral wires (two poles) simultaneously. In general, single-pole switches are ideal for low-power electrical devices, including table lamps.
By rocker, we mean the classic button that tilts and, when pressed, stays in that position. It is a very practical design, easy to operate and perfect for switching the switch on and off with one hand.
